Emirates Skywards launches instant cashback option for Miles via Skywards Everyday app
Limited-time 50% Miles discount on cashback conversions
DUBAI – Emirates Skywards has introduced a new way for members in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to use their rewards, enabling Skywards Everyday users to convert Skywards Miles directly into cashback on purchases made across its partner network.
The feature is now live on the Skywards Everyday app, expanding redemption flexibility beyond traditional flight and travel rewards. The move allows members to benefit from their Miles during routine spending across multiple lifestyle categories. A limited-time launch offer is also in place to encourage early use.
To mark the rollout, Emirates Skywards is offering a 50% discount on Miles converted into cashback until 28 February 2026. The promotion applies to eligible conversions made through the app, giving members greater value when redeeming Miles for everyday transactions.
App feature
Skywards Everyday app users can earn and convert Miles at more than 500 partner brands across the UAE. These partners span dining, shopping, beauty and wellness, groceries and services. Participating brands include Costa Coffee, Salt, Al Jaber Optical, Swarovski, NARS, Cole Haan, Tory Burch, Borders, Barry’s, BinSina Pharmacy and Lacoste, among others.
Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, said the enhancement adds more flexibility for members using the programme in their daily lives. He noted that members can earn and spend on the go across hundreds of popular UAE brands and choose between Miles or cashback rewards linked to their cards.
How it works
Members can access the feature by downloading the Skywards Everyday app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and logging in with their Emirates Skywards membership details. Users can save up to five Visa or Mastercard debit or credit cards within the app.
If members choose the earning option, Miles continue to be credited automatically after eligible purchases. If they select conversion, the app prompts them to either earn Miles or convert Miles into cashback at checkout.
Members earn 1 Mile for every Dh3 spent on high street shopping, leisure and entertainment, luxury shopping, beauty and wellness, services and dining. Grocery and pharmacy purchases earn 1 Mile for every Dh5 spent. Emirates Skywards credit card holders can earn additional Miles. Members based outside the UAE can also use the app to earn Miles when visiting the country.
Loyalty programme
Emirates Skywards was named Best Global Airline Loyalty Program at the International Loyalty Awards 2025. The programme has more than 37 million members worldwide and features four membership tiers: Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Members earn Miles through airline, hotel, car rental, financial, leisure and lifestyle partners, and can redeem them for flight tickets, upgrades, hotel stays, retail rewards and exclusive experiences.
